36+ weeks

A bit of drama at this week's doctors appointment has meant that I had to scale way back on activity to try to fatten up this little guy! He is measuring on the small end so we are doing what we can to help him grow as much as possible in the next few weeks. That said, Bowen did the exact same thing at the same period so really hoping that is just how our babies grow.....

35+ weeks

Once again I am behind so I will do my best to remember as far back as I am able to!


Tuesday Jan. 20th

Monday Jan. 19th
45:00 intervals on the elliptical - funny how some days I feel awful and others super strong. Today was a good day:-)
20:00 upper body strength session

Saturday Jan. 19th- felt horrible, super tired, light headed etc.

3 miles - alternating incline walk on the treadmill (15% grade) and running. The walking definitely feels better on my belly / hips / pubic bone but I can't get out of my head enough to walk the whole time. That said, the running feels easier than the walking and actually becomes my "break" from the tougher effort of the incline.  Called it a day after 3 miles because I was feeling so crappy.

Friday
Wrapped up a rough week of tech training in the office. Commuting every day (not to mention sitting for 8 hours) kills me! I don't know how other people do it.

40:00 FlyWheel - I normally feel great at Fly but today was a major struggle. Had to really dial it down and "check the box" for the day.

Jan. 5th

15:00 lower body strength session (squats, lunges, straight leg deadlifts)

Jan. 4th
Felt REALLY rock at the gym. Crazy how different I have been feeling day to day.
20:00 eliptical
20:00 upper body strength session

Jan. 3rd
45:00 FlyWheel - felt fantastic! hit 300 and felt strong for the whole ride.

Week 33

Happy New Year!

Jan. 2 
Fighting a bit of a cold so took it easier / lighter today.
30:00 elliptical with 10x1:00 "sprints"
Upper body circuit:
4x (2 pull-ups (first round was 5), 10 bb rows with 55#, 12 bent over rear flys with 10#, low cable rows with 65#)
3x (10x seated incline bench hammer curls with 12#, 10x bb curls with 30#, 10 x lat pulldown with 65#)
Upper body circuit courtesy of JillFit - I am doing more of a bodybuilding type strength program for the final weeks of pregnancy because these types of lifts require far fewer modifications at this stage!
