Wow, I was REALLY sore today after yesterday's workout. That said, it feels great to be reminded of what it feels like to be an athlete. There is a huge difference, mentally and physically, between exercising and training. I prefer to train - pregnancy seems to mandate that you exercise! If somebody had told me before I got pregnant that 6 months post-
partum I would still be "getting back up to speed" I would never have believed yet. That said, if I hadn't started running 2 weeks post-
partum I would not have lost so much time to recovery and would probably be back in action. All things considered, Saturdays' 60 mile ride plus Sunday's tough workout plus a 7
ish mile run today are helping me realize that I am doing okay.
60:00 run - Fort Greene through park, to Brooklyn Bridge, to Manhattan Bridge and home.
